Belarusian Deputy Minister I. Sekreta meets with Slovak State Secretary M. Eštok

On 18 June 2026, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Igor Sekreta held a meeting in Bratislava, at the invitation of the Slovak side, with Marek Eštok, State Secretary (First Deputy Minister) of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic.

In a friendly atmosphere, the parties discussed issues related to strengthening bilateral cooperation and the need to intensify economic interaction. They also noted their mutual efforts to ensure a full-fledged diplomatic presence in their respective capitals.

The interlocutors discussed issues of regional and international security, including possible confidence-building measures aimed at resolving the situation in the region.
