Greetings of the President of the Republic of Belarus to the people of Slovenia on the occasion of the National Day

Dear friends,

I sincerely congratulate the Slovenian people on the occasion of the National Day. The statehood is the most important value and a proof of the nation's ability to develop independently.

Your country is well aware of how thorny the path to independence can be and what efforts it takes to preserve it. I am sure that the fraternal Slovenian people fully share the aspiration of Belarusians for unity and a better future.

Belarus regards Slovenia as an important European partner and always paid great attention to the implementation of our joint projects.

I am confident that we will be able to overcome temporary difficulties and enter a new stage of constructive dialogue and mutually beneficial cooperation.

Please accept my sincere wishes for happiness, good health, peaceful sky and cloudless future.
