Deputy Foreign Minister Y. Ambrazevich meets with the Executive Director of the UN Office on Drugs and Crime

On September 26, 2022 Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Yuri Ambrazevich met with the Executive Director of the UN Office on Drugs and Crime / Director General of the UN Office in Vienna Ghada Waly.

During the meeting, the interlocutors noted the fruitful nature of Belarus' long-term cooperation with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), primarily to intensify international efforts to combat human trafficking in the development of the initiative of the President of the Republic of Belarus.

Y. Ambrazevich and G. Vali noted with satisfaction that Belarus is an active participant in the events held within the framework of UNODC, and provides a significant contribution to the work of this international organization.

During the conversation, concrete directions for expanding further cooperation were discussed, including the organization of joint events in UNODC and in Belarus.
